Byron Bay Boardshop

Extra Large Scale Mural

40/40 enlisted the help of John Kaye and Lachlan Hansen to help refurbish the giant backing of the newly situated Byron Bay Boardshop. The wall stands an incredible 32m wide and 12m high and is usually a hot spot for graffiti as it's essentially unmissable when you enter the main streets of Byron Bay.

The wall took about 3 days to complete and the entire concept was improvised as per the artist usual style as the guys at BSA told us there were no restrictions in terms of creative. To this day, the whole wall remains untouched and has become one of the biggest stand alone murals in Byron. The entire other side has also been painted top to bottom, thanks to Ironlak and their artists and have contributed to making one awesome and energetic wall, right in the heart of Byron Bay.

Byron Bay Boardshop

After their relocation to Byron, it was awesome to work with the guys from BSA again, transforming their exterior and interior with new and vibrant artworks. Plus any excuse to make our way down to Byron is always going to be a good time.
